Fred She Said January Blog Hop!

Hi all! A while back I told you that there were some exciting new things to look forward to from the Fred She Said DT members, and now I can let you in on it!

*
"Welcome to the first "FRED SHE SAID" blog hop!!! If you just happen to drop by my blog and you are not aware of this wonderful event taking place, please go back to the "FRED SHE SAID" blog here and start your hop! You are in for some awesome eye candy from my sister DT members made with the new releases from Fred She Said. They will be sure to get your inspiration going full speed!
*
Please, we would LOVE it if you commented on our posts. We totally love "Fred She Said" images and would like to hear how you feel about them too! Also, along the way, you will see a special CODE WORD on each blog. Collect them all up! Once you reach the end of the blog (which will be the "Fred She Said" Challenge blog), email DEANNE with the special code sentence and your name will go in for a draw for the 4 newest releases -Flowers, Doodledallion, Empty Pockets, and Smelling the Cherry Blossoms.
*
Here are my "Fred She Said" creations, I choose to use the EMPTY POCKETS designs:
*
Inside view of above:

This digi set comes in a girl and a boy version, complete with very cute sentiments! I love this set, well actually, all of them!! When I showed this card to my DH he said that it looked just like our oldest grandson, I agree! The sentiment was to close to home as I celebrated my 50th this month and the cake couldn't hold the candles!!! Wait, I can't believe I told you that!!! : 0 lol!!! Well, back to the card, it is a simple, versatile, quick design and the images color up easily for a fun-ny Birthday gift.

*Here is the little girl version:

This design is a gift card/money holder. The front of the card uses this weeks Monday Freebie balloons that I colored with Prismacolors. Then I embossed the layered images with Kaleidoscope embossing powder to give them a sparkly shimmery sheen. The inside of the card has the little girl version of Empty Pockets popped up, across from the pocket flap that hides the gift card/money, with the first sentiment that says " . . . I've got nuthin'". Then when the flap is lifted it says ". . . Just kiddin'", and reveals the gift card/money. These images are sooo cute and versatile!

*

My SPECIAL CODE WORD is: DO , be sure to collect them all to complete the sentence.

Love your colouring on them both! I normally use Copic markers, but I just bought some Polychromos pencils yesterday so going to try them out. I've been told they are very similar to Prisma's, any tips for a beginner? I need all the help I can get!! lol
